Clyde Wine and Food Festina

Clyde Wine & Food Harvest Festival

The annual Clyde Wine and Food Harvest Festival celebrates wines made in the most southerly wine producing region in the world. Started in 2003, the Annual Clyde Wine & Food Harvest Festival is held on Easter Sunday each year in the main street of Clyde.

This has been held since 2001 on Easter Sunday in the town’s historic precinct and is Promote Dunstan’s major fundraiser. It attracts more than 3000 people, some of whom travel from Canterbury, Southland and further afield. It is Otago’s major public wine and food event and is recommended by several travel sites on the internet as a “must go” festival.

The festival features live music, market and produce stalls as well as wine from up to 24 vineyards in the Alexandra basin and food stalls from Otago and Southland.

Donations are made to those community groups which help us run the festival and income after expenses is used for further community/heritage projects.
