Projects

Over the years our membership has ranged from nine to twelve, although sometimes spouses and friends help with some projects and events. We have no idea how many hours have been expended on our activities or events. Quite a lot, is the best we can say.
 

 

Our activities have brought communities and visitors together in a range of events and activities that support our vision to promote, protect and celebrate the Dunstan. Visitors benefit by learning more about the area’s history through our brochures which are in demand by visitor centres and tourist venues. Record-In-Time gives families and visitors an opportunity to learn about life in the past.
 

 

Activities and events organised by Promote Dunstan benefit the region by encouraging participation and community development and increasing the knowledge of the history of the region and current day activities. They also bring a significant economic benefit to the region.
